I can't seem to submit my entries. What should I do?

You must LOGIN before you can enter. Please CREATE AN ACCOUNT by specifying a username and password. Then …

  1. Add dog profile(s) in My Account
  2. Select show/class, choose dog, add to cart – repeat for all shows/dogs
  3. Checkout – Select to mail check or pay via PayPal or Credit Card then Place Order
  4. Receive email acknowledgement of entry then another email that confirms payment and entry

Check your spam/junk folder for any email from Entries@DogZibit.com.

How do I update my dog's profile (e.g.,, update AKC titles, change ownership, etc.)?

Login to your account and click on DOGS on the left navigation or click here: https://aladog.com/my-account/dogs/. You will see a list of your dogs. At the far right, there is a blue EDIT button that you can click to make updates; or there’s a red RETIRE button if you are no longer showing that dog.

How do I cancel my entry prior to closing?

To cancel an entry, we need an official request from you. We MUST receive your request prior to the entry deadline in order to make any changes or cancellations. A $5 processing fee will be deducted from any cancellation refunds to cover our labor costs.

3-Point Major available to Reserve starting July 3, 2024

Opportunities for Majors at Specialties Effective July 3, 2024   At the December 2023 Delegates meeting a modification to Chapter 16, Section 1 of the AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows was approved by the Delegate body.  The modification provides all specialty clubs the option for the Reserve Winners Dog and Reserve Winners Bitch to earn a three-point major provided that the number of dogs competing in the regular classes of the Reserve Winner’s sex totals at least twice the number required for a five-point major, in the region in which the event is held. Previously this option was only available at a breed’s National Specialty. Clubs must opt-out on their event application if they do not want this option available at their specialty show. This option is available for events held on or after July 3, 2024.

Limited Entry Shows - Payment must be confirmed for valid entry

For SHOWS WITH LIMITS:  Upon entering online, you will receive entry ACKNOWLEDGEMENT – this does NOT mean you are entered in the show. Once payment is confirmed (must be received for a valid entry) and entry is verified within the limits then you will receive an entry CONFIRMATION. Any payment for entries over the limit will be promptly refunded except for the debit/credit card fees.

Refunds

All refunds will be sent back to the payment method of your original payment. If you paid with your:

  • Credit card (including PayPal Credit): your refund will go to your credit card. It may take up to 30 days for the refund amount to appear on your card statement. If the card was canceled or you paid with a prepaid card, contact the card issuer to access your refund. The money will still be sent to this card account.
  • PayPal Cash or PayPal Cash Plus balance: your refund will go to your PayPal Cash or PayPal Cash Plus balance on the same day the refund was processed.
  • PayPal Cash or PayPal Cash Plus balance + credit card: your refund will go to both your PayPal Cash or PayPal Cash Plus balance and credit card. The refund to the balance will happen the same day it’s processed; the refund to the card may take up to 30 days.
  • Debit card: your refund will go to your debit card. It may take up to 30 days for the refund amount to appear on your card statement. If the refund can’t be applied to your debit card, it’ll be sent to your PayPal account.
I see UNOFFICIAL Results posted - when will OFFICIAL Results be available?

The UNOFFICIAL Results that are posted on this site are the show results from the day of show. These day of show results are submitted to AKC for review (for eligibility, etc.); this is done by every Show Secretary. OFFICIAL Results are posted only by AKC. At this time, DogZibit does not reconcile any updates performed by AKC.

Can the 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition Judge exhibit on the same day s/he judges?
  • May exhibit the same day he/she judges.
  • Judge and members of the same household should refrain from competing in the 4-6 month puppy competition
Can I exhibit to a judge that I co-own dogs with?

If an exhibitor co-owns a dog with a judge, they are not eligible to exhibit any dog to that judge. They are not eligible to exhibit to that judge until all co-ownerships have ended and a year has passed.

Can a sweepstakes judge exhibit on the same day that they judge?

The Board voted to remove the exhibiting restriction for Sweepstakes, Futurity, and Maturity judges effective January 1, 2025.

This change will permit Sweepstakes, Futurity, and Maturity Judges to exhibit on the same day they judge in any competition other than the classes for the competition they are assigned to judge. Those accepting an assignment to judge a Sweepstakes, Futurity or Maturity are reminded that the event hosting club does have the option to impose exhibiting restrictions for its judges above those defined by AKC rules and policies as a condition of contract.

Be advised, for all events held prior to January 1, 2025, Sweepstakes, Futurity, and Maturity Judges must adhere to the current policy which prohibits one from exhibiting the same breed the day they judge at events held within 200 miles of their assignment; with the restriction spanning the entire length of the event when held with a multi-day show.

An insert was created to reflect this change and has been added to the current version of the Rules, Policies, and Guidelines for Conformation Dog Show Judges posted on the AKC website. The revised text will be inserted into the booklet at its next reprint.
